Reminder: Library building closure, June 1 - June 14
Construction is about to begin! To prepare the library for our exciting renovation project, as announced in May, the Gordon Library building will be closed to the public beginning Monday, June 1, reopening on Monday, June 15.
During this time, construction crews will build a temporary pedestrian tunnel to provide safe access to the Library. Once the tunnel is completed on June 15 the Library's Ground, First (Lower) and Third (Upper) floors will be accessible to the public via the construction tunnel.
Services previously located on the main entrance floor have been moved to alternate locations: Services during the building closure include:
- LIBRARY SERVICES:
- Most library staff and services, including circulation, research and interlibrary loan, have moved to the First (Lower) floor. During the temporary building closure June 1-June 14, Library staff will be working both in the building and remotely and may arrange to meet you in person elsewhere on campus if needed. - IT SERVICES:
- The IT Service Desk is providing in-person support in the ATC Main Office - Fuller Labs 117, and virtual support via email (ITS@wpi.edu), and phone (508-831-5888).
- Technology for Teaching and Learning (TTL) is providing virtual support via email to atc-ttl@wpi.edu.
IT TTL Services beginning June 15 will reopen in the Library in Room 302 on the Third (Upper) floor; the IT Service Desk will reopen in the Library on the First (Lower) floor. For details, please contact them at its@wpi.edu.
