Title: Current issues and directions in quantum computing
Abstract: Scott Aaronson, Director of the UT Austin Quantum Information Center, is a world leader in computational complexity theory and quantum computing. A Waterman Prize winner, Scott is founder of the Complexity Zoo wiki and authors the widely read "Shtetl-Optimized” blog. Scott is often quoted in popular news items on quantum computing and has published extensively on topics related to quantum information theory. In this session, Scott will answer our questions about these topics. So bring your questions!
