Welcome to WPI!
The campus is open for public visitation every day, but when planning a visit you should be aware of dates and times when classes are not in session or the university is closed. View our full recess & holiday schedule.
Join us on a weekday or Saturday for an information session with Admissions staff and a campus tour led by a WPI student. Our morning visit begins at 9:15 a.m. and afternoon visit begins at 1:15 p.m.; each option lasts two hours.
So we can best prepare for your visit, we ask you to register in advance. Please note that we have limited capacity, and only dates with available visit options will display on the calendar.
Accepted student visitors will receive a t-shirt, bookstore coupon, and lunch pass to the first-year dining hall on campus. Additionally, starting on March 18, accepted students are invited to be our guest for lunch with a current WPI student available to answer your questions. Lunches will be from 12:00pm (noon) to 1:00pm and leave from the Bartlett Center. Should you be interested in this option, please inform reception upon check-in. Please note the option to have lunch with a student will not be available on April 22 or April 24.
The WPI Admissions Office will be open on select Saturdays this spring. We offer information sessions, conducted by the admissions staff at 10 a.m. and 12 p.m., followed by student-led campus tours. Together the information session and tour will last just over two hours. Please view our calendar to register online for a Saturday visit if you plan to join us.
