Congratulations on your acceptance! We can't wait to see you #GoWorldClass.

There are several options to visit WPI, and we encourage you to come to our beautiful New England campus and envision yourself here.

The campus is open to visitors every day, but you should be aware of our recess & holiday schedule. Our scheduled events below will allow you to see the full WPI experience.

  • Accepted Student Day

    The Accepted Student Day open houses are being held on April 8, 15, and 22.

    Will the schedule for each Accepted Student Day be available prior to the event?

    A sample schedule is available above, and is subject to change. The actual schedule for the day will be posted roughly a week prior to the event.

    What group of students would benefit from the Accepted Student Day?

    This event is only for accepted WPI students in the current year. We encourage families to attend as well, as they are an important part of the student's college process.

    When should I plan to arrive?

    On-site check-in will begin at 8 AM in the Sports and Recreation Center. We will provide a light breakfast. The welcome will start at 8:30 AM.

    Where do I park?

    Parking is available in our parking garage located at 151 Salisbury St. (Campus map.) The parking garage is adjacent to the Sports and Recreation Center.

    More details will be sent a few days before the event to the registered email address. A parking permit is not required.

    Where do I go if I arrive late?

    If you arrive between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM, please check in at the Sports & Recreation Center. Should you arrive after 11:00 AM, please check in at the Bartlett Center (see "Arriving to Bartlett Center" for directions).

    Can I pay my deposit to #GoWorldClass on Accepted Student Day?

    Yes! Please visit the Bartlett Center and a member of the Admissions Staff will assist you in paying your deposit.

    If I am unable to stay for the full duration of Accepted Student Day, can I still attend?

    Absolutely! Our program officially ends at 4:00 PM but we understand that some of our guests may need to leave early. We recommend reviewing the schedule to understand what might best fit your schedule.

    Can I bring a guest(s) with me to Accepted Student Day?

    We encourage you to bring parents, siblings, guardians or other guests to accompany you to the Open House. We ask that you indicate how many guests you are bringing with you upon registering.

    Where can my family stay during their visit? What can we do?

    Will I have Internet access?

    Yes, on-campus wireless will be available for all our guests. This information will be located in your program booklet given to you upon your arrival.

    Will I be able to learn about my intended major?

    Yes, most majors will offer at least one presentation during the program.

    Will campus tours be offered?

    Yes, both campus tours and residence hall tours will be offered throughout the day.

    Does WPI accommodate special dietary concerns?

    Chartwells at WPI accommodates nearly all food allergy and dietary concerns. WPI's Registered Dietician will be available during the event for any specific questions or concerns.

    Does WPI accommodate accessibility requests?

    Absolutely. As soon as possible before the event, you should contact the Admissions office at admissions@wpi.edu or 508-831-5286, so that we may connect with the appropriate departments to meet your request(s).

    The Office of Disability Services will also be available during the lunch period of the day to answer any questions or concerns you may have.

  • Weekday Visits

    Join us on a weekday for an information session with Admissions staff and a campus tour led by a WPI student! Our morning visit begins at 9:15 AM and afternoon visit begins at 1:15 PM; each option lasts two hours.

    Please register in advance. The calendar will only show visit options with remaining availability.

    Accepted students will receive a t-shirt, bookstore coupon, and lunch pass to the first-year dining hall.

    Starting on March 18 through April 30, accepted students can eat with a current WPI student. Lunches are from 12:00pm (noon) to 1:00pm and leave from the Bartlett Center. Inform reception upon check-in if you are interested. This option is not available on April 22 or April 24.

  • Saturday Visits

    Join us on select Saturdays for an information session with Admissions staff and a campus tour led by a WPI student! Our morning visit begins at 10 AM and afternoon visit begins at 12 PM.; each option lasts two hours.

    Please register in advance. The calendar will only show visit options with remaining availability.

    Accepted students will receive a t-shirt, bookstore coupon, and lunch pass to the first-year dining hall

    Starting on March 18 through April 30, accepted students may be invited to brunch with a current WPI student. Registered students will be contacted via email if this opportunity is available.

Animals on Campus

WPI has an Animals on Campus policy, and appreciates guests following the policy. In short, animals are not permitted in the Bartlett Center (housing the Office of Admissions, and Student Aid & Financial Literacy) or other buildings on campus with the exception of approved Service or Assistance Animals for individuals with disabilities.
