Enrollment Deposit

To confirm your enrollment in WPI, you must submit an enrollment deposit of $500 by credit card.

  • Early Decision I accepted students must deposit by January 15, Early Decision II accepted students must deposit by March 15. All other accepted students must deposit by May 1. All deposits are due by 11:59:59 PM Eastern Daylight Time.
  • Transfer students must deposit by June 30, 11:59:59 PM Eastern Daylight Time.

Submitting your deposit affirms your agreement to all terms and conditions found on this page.

Please be aware that by submitting your deposit, you are making more than just a financial commitment to WPI. Barring some unforeseen eventuality, your payment of this deposit should be considered a binding commitment to attend WPI.

Online Enrollment Process

Students must have registered for a WPI portal account in order to accept or decline their acceptance to WPI. To view instructions on how to create an account, click here.

  1. Log into the portal.
  2. Click the "Admissions" link under "My Applications".
  3. A notification will state your decision is ready. Click the blue button with "View Your Decision" text.
  4. Click the "Reply to Offer" button at the bottom right.
  5. Officially confirm or decline your enrollment at WPI. Please note by clicking to the next step after ensuring your full name is inserted into the appropriate box, you are digitally confirming your decision and affirming you have reviewed the below terms and conditions.
  6. Follow the steps to pay your enrollment deposit via credit or debit card. Please note that enrollment deposits are non-refundable; please contact the Admissions Office with any questions regarding enrollment deposits or refunds.

Self-Reported Test Scores

First-Year students only: If you self-reported your SAT and ACT test scores to WPI, please note that upon enrollment, you are required to submit official test scores from the testing agency before the beginning of New Student Orientation.

On-Campus Housing

First-year students are required to reside in on-campus housing for their first year.

Tuition Bills

WPI bills all students electronically. All invoice and account balances are available to students online with their WPI ID and PIN that new students receive shortly after the enrollment deadline.

Also, students may authorize payers to view their bills and account information, and pay online through Cashnet, our e-billing vendor.

Students will receive notifications at their WPI email address in early July notifying them that their fall invoice is available for them to view. Authorized payers will also receive a notification at the email address that they set up in Cashnet. See more information.

Admissions Terms and Conditions

Please note that WPI's offer of admission and subsequent enrollment is contingent upon continued success throughout the remainder of your academic year.

WPI reserves the right to withdraw the offer of admission to students who:

  • do not graduate or receive a diploma at the end of the year.
  • have misrepresented any part of their application.
  • experience a drop in grade performance.
  • engage in behavior that may be in violation of WPI's Student Code of Conduct including information that comes to the attention of the admissions committee that was not included in the application and associated credentials.
