Reserve a Room

Gordon Library is equipped with conference rooms and labs that can be reserved by members of the WPI community for meetings, lectures, project work, and more. Check out the space descriptions and make your reservation today.

Gordon Library Conference Room

The Gordon Conference Room is located on the third floor of the library (Room 303), and includes a large conference room table, seating for 25, an LCD projector and screen, and multimedia podium with Logitech Meet Up software. The room can be reserved by WPI faculty and staff however students need an advisor present. Room reservations are mediated by Gordon Library staff who will inform you if your request is approved. 

Anderson Lab

The instruction lab is located on the first floor of the Library (entrances are through the Multimedia Lab) and is available to reserve for staff and faculty for library instruction and software training. Anderson Lab includes an instructor PC, projection system, DVD/VCR, a whiteboard and contains 14 PCs and seating for 20. The Anderson Lab is open to the WPI community for use during all Library open hours as long as there is not a reservation.

Nursing Room (Room 203)

The Gordon Library offers the WPI community a small but private room suitable for nursing mothers. The room (Room 203) is located on the library's main level (2nd floor/entry level), and is open all hours that the library is open, including evenings and weekends. The room offers a small recliner, and a window with a curtain. Please reserve the room in advance by clicking below and stop by the Tech Suite Reservation Station, located at the end of the Information Desk, to collect the key.

Studio @ Gordon

Studio @ Gordon is an active study and workspace for individual students, project teams, and student groups. It can also be reserved and configured for informal class sessions.  Please note: during the renovation of Stratton Hall 2023-2024, the Studio is configured as a classroom with a speaker station and projector, whiteboards, and closely-packed individual tab-desk seats. Please contact library@wpi.edu if you want to reserve the space when not scheduled for classes. 

Phone Booths and Interview Room

The Phone Booths (Rooms 204 and 205) are private spaces available for an individual to conduct a phone interview, take a test, etc. They are located on the main level (second floor) of the library and can be reserved online.

The Interview Room (Room 118) is a new private space available for an individual to conduct a video or phone interview. It is located on the lower level (first floor) of the library just around the corner from the Anderson Lab in the Multimedia Lab area, and can also be reserved online.

Shuster Lab

Located next to the Multimedia Lab on the first floor, the Shuster Lab is ideal for small workshops or training sessions. This room includes two Solstice-enabled wall-mounted monitors, mobile worktables, and whiteboards. The Shuster Lab can be reserved by WPI faculty and staff and student groups. Student groups must be accompanied by an advisor or faculty member. Library-led group consultations and workshops receive priority in this space. The room is kept unlocked and is available for use when not reserved on a first-come-first-served basis. Room reservations are mediated by Gordon Library staff who will inform you if your request is approved.
