Poster Printing Price Update — Phased Increases beginning July 1, 2027
Dear WPI Community,
Information Technology Services (ITS), specifically the Academic Technology Center (ATC) and Academic & Research Computing (ARC), will phase in large-format poster printing annual rate increases starting July 1, 2027. This is our first price adjustment in three years, and it reflects the rising cost of paper, ink, and printing equipment. ITS does not print posters as a revenue stream; the goal is to charge just what covers printing costs.
There are NO INCREASES for the current FY27. however we are sending this message out early for FY 28 planning purposes. In FY 27, we will send periodic reminders so that departments who pay research poster printing costs can plan and budget accordingly for FY 28 and beyond. If you would like statistics on the number of posters printed, and charges for your department in prior fiscal cycles, or if you have questions about the new pricing or an upcoming poster order, please reach out to Ellen Lincourt (Academic Technology Center) or Albert Enyedy (Academic & Research Computing).

ITS also continues to offer the fastest turnaround: 3 business days or less — compared to a week or more for many outside vendors at their cheapest rates.
The increases will be phased in over the next three fiscal years to help offset current budget constraints, and we will continue to review our pricing structure every three years going forward. Thank you for your continued support as we work to keep this service sustainable and accessible for the WPI community.
