External Relations

Dear Partners and Friends,

Data science and related fields, such as artificial intelligence, intersect with so many areas of our lives—from health care, education, finance, even our entertainment is influenced by data science. WPI data science researchers are exploring every aspect of this burgeoning field. Together with our partners in industry and the public sector, they innovate data science techniques and technologies, and their applications are fueling breakthroughs that have direct, real-world impact. I’m excited to share some of those breakthroughs with you today. I hope you enjoy reading more about how WPI is making a positive impact on our world through data science.

If you’re in the New York City area on Nov. 30, you can learn about data science and artificial intelligence at WPI and in the world firsthand at a special event featuring our faculty, alumni, and President Grace Wang. I hope you’ll consider joining us! I also encourage you to view our 2023 Community Impact Report to see how working with our neighbors in Worcester and the region together we achieve so much.

With best wishes,
