Andreas Brandl currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at IEP Technologies in Marlborough, MA, where his professional endeavors concentrate on industrial explosion protection. With an extensive background in the Oil and Gas services industry prior to his present role, Andreas brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the realm of safety and risk management. In addition to his executive responsibilities, Andreas Brandl is a member of the technical committee on combustible metals and metal dusts of NFPA660. Andreas earned his Master’s degree in mechanical engineering at the Vienna University of Technology and his MBA at the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University.
This lecture is offered as part of FP 575 (Explosion Protection Engineering) taught by Prof. Lorenz Boeck for the Explosion Protection Engineering (XPE) – A new and exciting interdisciplinary MS program by Aerospace, Chemical Civil, Fire Protection, and Mechanical Engineering at WPI.
