Expert Bio

Dean of Engineering John McNeill's research interests include the design of cutting-edge mixed (analog + digital) integrated circuits and systems with a focus on jitter (noise) in integrated oscillators and digitally assisted calibration of analog-to-digital converters used in low power sensor systems. More recently, he has launched a collaborative effort involving engineers and physicians to develop wireless medical sensors, including a wearable wireless sensor designed to prevent bedsores in convalescing patients.
