In my role as an Academic Advisor, I work closely with students as they navigate their educational path, understand degree requirements, and identify and utilize proper institutional resources. I use a holistic advising approach when supporting students on their academic journeys, as well as teaching transferable skills they can carry with them beyond their experiences as a student, and into their life after WPI! I look to lead students to develop a growth-oriented perspective when facing challenges in their academia - this is how I have learned to overcome difficulties academically and personally. My goal as an academic advisor is to meet students where they are and guide them to reach their overall goals!
In my own experience as an undergraduate student, I was able to learn so many important and useful skills that I implement in my everyday life. I am extremely passionate about helping students access these tools and applying them to their life at WPI both academically and personally. I am highly enthusiastic about mental health and disability awareness and advocacy – I connect with these topics strongly and love to help students navigate their own personal experiences regarding these matters!
Outside of WPI, I love to play and watch field hockey (which I played in college) as well as basketball – I am a huge New England sports fan! I enjoy being outside whether it is walking, going to the beach, or even skiing in the winter. I also love listening to music, some of my favorite bands being the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Fontaines DC, Sublime, Oasis, and the Grateful Dead!
