My name is Elisa Negrini and I am a PhD student in the Mathematical Sciences department. I come from Italy and obtained my undergraduate and master’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Bologna in 2015 and 2017, respectively. Evan is from Chelmsford, Massachusetts and graduated from Brandeis University in 2020. Before and after graduation, he did computational research on the self-assembly of bacterial microcompartments and viral capsids. He then worked in the pharmaceutical industry before deciding to continue his education at WPI, where he is now a PhD candidate. He has a passion for math and music.
