WPI Admissions STEM Leadership Book Award

WPI remains committed to strengthening the number of women in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields and we are pleased to offer the WPI STEM Leadership Book Award. This book award is offered annually to honor and recognize high achieving young women at participating secondary schools. Nominees should currently be in their junior year and exhibit the following:

  • Exceptional academic achievement in a rigorous college prep program with a focus on coursework in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics
  • Commitment to leadership and is an engaged member of her school and community
  • Strong ability to collaborate, innovate, and problem solve
  • Preference for hands on project-based learning in a collaborative environment

Recipients will be awarded with a certificate and a copy of Women in Science: 50 Fearless Pioneers Who Changed the World, written and illustrated by Rachel Ignotofsky. Both the certificate and the book will be mailed to the address of your choice along with a congratulatory letter from WPI.
