The Bar Harbor students work directly with the sponsors. In most cases, as the advisor I'm in the loop, but the students get to a point where they understand the project enough and the issues they're dealing with that they obtain a certain confidence level where they are able to navigate their own communication. Ultimately, they work more as consultants and professional advisors to the park and not as students.
