Developing Sustainable Solutions: External Relations Newsletter

Department(s):

External Relations

Dear Partners and Friends,

One of the most intractable problems we currently face is the health of our planet. Our global society is short on resources and long on environmental crises. Yet, at WPI, we have plenty of reasons for hope and optimism.

This edition of our newsletter is full of stories that demonstrate how WPI faculty have come together to develop creative solutions in sustainable technologies destined to make a significant positive impact on the health of our planet. The good news is, these stories only scratch the surface of the work our faculty and students are doing around the world on issues related to sustainability.

It will take more than just one researcher or one university to solve our global climate problems. It will take partnership and collaboration across institutions, agencies, and organizations. I remain optimistic, because together we achieve so much.

With best wishes for a safe, healthy, and happy fall,

Kola Akindele
