Join WPI alumnus Dave Coughlin MBA’15 as he takes participants through a course on early career advancement. This three-part series will take place via Zoom on September 19, October 17, and November 14 at 6:00 pm EDT. All are encouraged to read Dave's book prior to the sessions; You can find it here.
His work, titled “Entry Level Escape” teaches you the following critical lessons to speed you towards raises, bonuses, and promotions:
- How to leverage “three-dimensional thinking” to maximize your career potential and the key to using skills to get there
- How to tell a compelling Impact story and treat your promotion as a project with a One Year Plan
- How to avoid early career Trip Wires, subtle yet harmful behaviors that slow down your career
Dave Coughlin is obsessed with growth, whether commercial, personal, or professional. He is the author and architect of Entry Level Escape and an analytics executive with experience at large companies like CVS Health and PwC. He’s been mentoring for over a decade and has been a party to over a dozen promotions. When he is not driving growth for his mentees and employers he likes to lift weights. He lives in Boston with his wife and three kids. He holds an MBA from WPI and an MS in Applied Math from Northeastern.
