Healthy Eating on a Budget: Latin American Cuisine

Join the Center for Well-Being, Chartwells’ Chef Dave and Registered Dietitian, Shavaun Coran, as they demonstrate tips on how busy college students and students on a low budget can eat healthily by using specially selected recipes and the teaching kitchen for a hands-on meal preparation. Chef Dave will demonstrate how to utilize a few nutrient-dense foods to produce an enticing meal from Latin culture! The session will also cover shopping on a budget, menu planning, staples to keep on hand, and balancing healthy with realistic, meal planning that is time conscious. Registration is required as there are limited spots available.
