Rachael Naoum is a part time adjunct instructor for ES 1310 - Introduction to Computer-Aided Design. This class teaches SOLIDWORKS as an engineering design tool, focusing largely on design intent and developing students' individual modeling strategies. The class also emphasizes orthographic thinking, understanding mechanical motion, and comprehending engineering drawings.
Rachael's full time position is working for Dassault Systèmes as a Product Definition Engineering Manager in SOLIDWORKS R&D. Not only does Rachael make the product she teaches, but she is also a Certified SOLIDWORKS Expert (CSWE) and Certified SOLIDWORKS Trainer.
Rachael also teaches SOLIDWORKS through the MassRobotics Jumpstart Fellowship, a high school program that began with its first cohort in 2021.
