Michelle Borowski joined the WPI community in the Summer of 2018 and began teaching as an Adjunct Instructor/Lecturer in 2022. She earned her Undergraduate and Graduate degrees in Art History from the College of the Holy Cross and Syracuse University, respectively, and authored the definitive monograph on William Tolman Carlton (1816-1888), a Boston painter of portraits and genre subjects. She teaches courses in the Departments of Humanities and Arts, Social Science and Policy Studies, and in the Center for Well-Being as a WPE Wellness Instructor.
