WPI Opens a Search for the Next Senior Vice President and Provost

Position Profile

Reporting to the President, the Senior Vice President and Provost is the chief academic officer, responsible for championing excellence in the university’s academic endeavors, including oversight of all academic and research programs and the associated curricular, human, financial, and physical resources. The Provost bears primary responsibility for the recruitment and retention of outstanding educators and scholars; the excellence of the academic and research programs; the positive, inclusive, and immersive academic experience for all students, broadly promoting its continuing increases in quality, relevance, and stature.
