Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) will host an engineering carnival complete with games and interactive science and engineering experiments as an opportunity to engage young women in the wonders of engineering and science.

Camp Reach is a math- and science-focused summer camp for seventh-grade girls. Last November, Camp Reach received the Presidential Award for Excellence in Science, Mathematics, and Engineering. This summer the camp will celebrate it's 16th year. The engineering carnival is for former and future campers.

This will offer an excellent photo opportunity of girls enjoying science and having fun in an academic setting.

When: Sunday, April 1, 2012, from 2 to 4 p.m.

Where: WPI Campus Center Odeum, 100 Institute Road, Worcester, Mass.
