AIChE 35 Under 35 Award

Christina Bailey-Hytholt, Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering, was selected for the prestigious AIChE 35 under 35 Award. Bailey-Hytholt is one of six awardees in the Bioengineering category, recognized for her impactful work on developing new biomaterials and drug delivery vehicles influencing fundamental understanding and treatment strategies for reproductive health complications. AIChE has been an instrumental professional home for Bailey-Hytholt throughout each stage of her career. 

AIChE describes the 35 Under 35 Award as honoring “35 chemical engineering professionals under the age of 35 who have made great contributions to the field, as well as to AIChE. These young individuals will pave the way for future generations, serving as role models and innovators. The recipients of the awards were selected for their achievements and contributions in one of seven different categories: bioengineering, chemicals and materials, education and outreach, energy and environment, innovation and entrepreneurship, leadership, and safety. These award winners embody what it is to be an accomplished chemical engineer.”
