Is Modern Chemistry Rubbish? A virtual talk about the challenges of Chemistry in The Circular Economy
Department(s):
Chemistry & Biochemistry
Inspired by the Nature article, "Modern Chemistry is Rubbish" written by PhD, Hannah Flerlage and associate professor Chris Slootweg, of Amsterdam's Van't Hoff Institute for Molecular Sciences, this panel examines the need to address society's greatest pain points with chemistry. Hosted by De Gruyter, this talk focuses on modern chemistry's link to environmental disasters, human health problems, and the possible solutions. Join us for a 50-minute discussion followed by a 10-minute Q&A session.
