REGISTER NOW: Professional Development Plan Workshop for Associate Professors

Recognizing the value of flexibility and cognizant of Zoom fatigue, we’re planning a mix of asynchronous and synchronous activities. The core of the workshop will be on Tuesday, January 12 from 10:30am-noon on Zoom. Some pre-work is highly recommended and can be done at any convenient time, or in (virtual and silent) community with others immediately in advance of the workshop (9-10:30am).

The PDP template and process guides faculty to envision or sharpen this chapter of their career by conducting a self-assessment of values, passions, and strengths; placing those in the contexts of departmental or institutional needs and of promotion criteria; planning specific short-term and long term goals and actions; and identifying a mentoring team and broader network who can help you achieve your goals. We’re confident that the workshop will be a good investment of time as you start off the new year 2021.
