In Spring 2021, a team of WPI faculty and academic staff was selected by AAC&U through a competitive national process to focus on creating a comprehensive university-wide strategy for adopting, curating, sharing, and creating Open Educational Resources (OERs).
To learn more about the course textbook environment at WPI, this fall the team invited students to share what they do to afford expensive textbooks - only 5 reported they "always'" buy required texts - and over 160 do so "rarely" or "never".
