Emergency Action Plan Training

Course Description:

Emergency Action Plan training is a 1-hour training session presented by Environmental Health & Safety.   The training will focus on topics related to emergencies both inside and outside of buildings and will cover the following:

• Emergency building evacuation procedures
• Shelter-in-place procedures
• Types of emergencies
• Emergency communications
• Building design and fire evacuation procedures
• Fire prevention and safety awareness
• Personnel accountability
• Departmental & employee roles 

For all employees, Emergency Action Plan Training is required and should be completed within 90-days of hire.
