This training is for all early career faculty and faculty at WPI looking for a refresher on the campus-wide requirements for undergraduate students. In this just-in-time training session, we will introduce general academic advising at WPI, and discuss the campus-wide social science, humanities, IQP, and MQP requirements. Some tips and tricks will be provided for using WorkDay to simplify some aspects of academic advising. Time permitting, experienced faculty advisors will describe how they manage academic advising meetings and introduce typical conversation they may have about requirements, student life at WPI, and career planning. Attend for all or part of the event. Lunch will be provided. Ample time will be allotted for Q&A and group discussion.
