NCFDD's Summer 2024 14-Day Writing Challenge: Registration Deadline

Friday, July 5, 2024

Did you know that you can use the NCFDD 14-Day Writing Challenge to make progress on any kind of academic project?

The 14-Day Challenge is an opportunity for you to experiment with daily writing, online community, and supportive accountability. It's very simple:

  1. You commit to write (or work on any other type of project) every day for at least 30 minutes.
  2. At the beginning of your writing time, you login to our online community, start the timer, complete your writing, and post your progress at the end.
  3. You take 5 minutes to support other writers in your group by commenting on their progress.

This is NOT for you if: 1) you don't want to post your progress on a daily basis and/or 2) you don't want to interact with other people.

The next Challenge runs from July 15 – July 28, 2024, and registration closes on July 5. Visit the NCFDD website for details and to register.

All WPI faculty, staff, post-docs, and graduate students can benefit from our institutional membership in the NCFDD, which has been supported by Talent & Inclusion, the Provost’s Office, and the Morgan Teaching and Learning Center. If you do not yet have an NCFDD sub-account, go to the NCFDD home page, click “Become a member” on the top right, and select WPI from the drop-down menu to create an account.
