Neuroprosthetics Symposium to Stream Live from WPI on Feb. 23

February 21, 2012

The plenary presentations and keynote addresses at Neuroprosthetics 2012, a national symposium focused on the development of next generation artificial limbs, will be available via a live webcast from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) beginning at 8:30 a.m. (Eastern) on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012. The theme of this year’s symposium is “Neural Interfaces as Enablers for Advanced Prosthetic Function."

No registration is required to view the webcast. A link to the webcast and the full symposium program are available at the symposium website.

Organized by the Center for Neuroprosthetics in WPI’s Bioengineering Institute (BEI), Neuroprosthetics 2012 is the leading national conference focused on the scientific and engineering problems that must be solved to enable a new generation of artificial limbs that more closely replicate the function of natural limbs.
