Crisis Services
If you, or someone you know, is experiencing a mental health crisis, help is available. You are not alone.
If you are on-campus
During normal working hours (8 am-4:30 pm, Monday through Friday during the summer months), call the SDCC (508-831-5540). Our services are available whether you live on- or off-campus.
If you are off-campus
Call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
After-hours line
Calling ProtoCall (508-831-5540) is a great first step, as the crisis counselor you connect with can help you determine if you need a higher level of intervention or not. Call Campus Police or 911 if you are concerned about yourself or the immediate safety of someone else.
24/7 Volunteer-Run Hotlines
If you think someone is in imminent danger of suicidal action or other threat, call WPI Campus Police at 508-831-5555 (or call 911 if off-campus). View more Suicide Awareness & Prevention information.
