The WPI Parents Association gives parents an opportunity to be involved in activities designed to have a positive impact on WPI students. Through the Association, parents are able to become involved in a meaningful way with the university to which their children will forever be connected.

Mission and Initiatives

The WPI Parents Association is dedicated to enhancing the partnership between the University and parents through events, programs, and opportunities reflecting the mission of the University. The Parents Association is an affinity program with members having an exclusive relationship with the Division of University Advancement, and serve as ambassadors of the University in support of its initiatives and priorities. Members have a keen interest in volunteering for University Advancement-sponsored opportunities and programs, and may be in collaboration with other divisions across campus.

Who can be a member?

Parents/guardians of enrolled WPI undergraduate and graduate students, having an interest in volunteerism and looking to connect with other parents, are eligible to be members of the WPI Parents Association.

When are the meetings?

Parents Association members meet occasionally throughout the academic year.

How can parents get involved?

Various areas of the University utilize parent volunteers to enhance their programs and offerings. The Parents Association supports University Advancement programs and endeavors, in addition to University-wide collaborative events, such as Family Weekend. Collectively we form an organization that impacts, and is a resource for, the entire WPI community. If you would like to learn more about volunteer opportunities and become a member of the Parents Association, please complete the Parent Interest Volunteer Form or inquire with Maureen Maynard at mmaynard@wpi.edu.
