The WPI Parents Association gives parents an opportunity to be involved in activities designed to have a positive impact on WPI students. Through the Association, parents are able to become involved in a meaningful way with the school to which their children will forever be connected.

All WPI parents of enrolled undergraduate and graduate students can be members of the Parents Association, and are encouraged to review Parents Association opportunities and to consider some form of involvement. You know how quickly four years passes – remember how fast the last eighteen just went? Don’t delay, get involved and make an impact before the opportunity is over.

Mission and Initiatives

The WPI Parents Association is dedicated to enhancing the partnership between the University and parents. Our focus is on engaging parents with other parents and the University, while initiating parent programs which reflect the mission of the University.

Who can be a member?

All parents of WPI undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to be members of the WPI Parents Association.

When are the meetings?

The Parents Association volunteers meet occasionally throughout the academic year.

How can parents get involved?

Various areas of the university utilize parent volunteers to enhance their programs and offerings. The Parents Association supports these endeavors and would gladly assist in identifying a volunteer opportunity. Collectively we form an organization that impacts, and is a resource for, the entire WPI community. If you would like to learn more about volunteer opportunities and become a member of the Parents Association, please complete the Parent Interest Volunteer Form or inquire with Maureen Maynard at
