I graduated from Guangdong Ocean University with an MS in food science in 2016. My master thesis involved preparing bioactive peptides from oysters and investigating memory enhancement effects utilizing neurobehavior tools. I then joined the functional foods industry for 3 years. However, I want to further my studies and to pursue a scientific career. I chose to join Argüello’s lab in 2019 and began my adventures unraveling the mechanisms of copper homeostasis in Pseudomonas aeruginosa which play key roles in bacterial virulence. Besides science, I enjoy music and playing guitar. Metal is my favorite kind of music and science subject. Hooray!
