CPT Crews Enlisted in the Kentucky National Guard. In February he attended Basic Training at Fort Sill, OK where he also conducted his Advanced Individual Training (AIT) as a 13M. He enrolled in College at Western Kentucky University (WKU) and Contracted as an ROTC Cadet in Simultaneous Member Program (SMP). He received his Active-Duty Commission in the Ordnance Corps and attended BOLC at Fort Lee, VA, and then graduated from Phase II Naval School Explosive Ordnance Disposal (NAVSCHOLEOD), Eglin AFB Florida.  

He served as Platoon Leader and Executive Officer for the 749th OD CO (EOD) at Fort Carson, CO. Form EOD CCC, he served in the 3rd ESC, Fort Bragg, NC as the DMC Plans Officer and supported the COVID-19 relief effort in New York City. He served the AS3/S3 for the 192D OD BN (EOD) and took Command of HHD, 192D OD BN (EOD).  

His Military Education includes Basic Training, 13M Multiple Launch Rocket Systems (MLRS) Crew Member Course, Air Assault, Airborne, Ordnance BOLC, Naval School Explosive Ordnance Disposal (NAVSCHOLEOD), Advance Diagnostic Training, Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) Homemade Explosives Course, Equal Opportunity Leaders Course (EOL), EOD- Logistics Combined Captain Career Course and Air Movement Officer (AMO).  

His Civilian education includes a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Military Leadership with a minor in Criminology.
