Asst Dir, Global Proj Program
Erin is the primary faculty contact for off-campus programs in the Americas, Africa and Pacific. She also administers the IQP application process. Erin studied abroad in Aix-En-Provence, France, where she developed her passion for learning about new cultures through travel. Since then she has been fortunate to visit every continent (except Antarctica!) through work, volunteer, and personal travel. She holds a BA in French from Muhlenberg College and an MS in Global and International Education from Drexel University.
As Program Coordinator, Global Projects Program, Deb is the student contact for IQP, MQP, ISRP, and Humanities Projects in the Americas, Africa and the Pacific regions and is responsible for preparing students for off-campus projects, and collecting and maintaining student and faculty travel information and documentation. She works with the Assistant Director of the Global Projects Program in coordinating the IQP application process. Deb earned a BS in Business Management from Boston College. She previously served as Administrative Assistant and Receptionist in IGSD.
Exec Director Global Proj Pgrm
Anne Ogilvie oversees operations, risk management, and program administration for the Global Projects Program. Previously, she was the International Director of Field Management at Earthwatch Institute. Anne has expertise overseeing program operations and safety for research and education programs on six continents. She holds a BS in Zoology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and an MS in Adult and Organizational Learning from Suffolk University.
Program Coordinator, GPP
Candace is responsible for recruitment, general administration, orientation, and visas for the Global Projects Program. She previously worked for a mid-sized program provider based in Western Massachusetts, where she was responsible for the admissions, advising, pre-departure, and visa process for programs primarily in Italy. She also advised on programs in Costa Rica, Czech Republic, France, Ghana, and South Africa. Candace earned her BS in Interdisciplinary Studies from Fitchburg State College (now Fitchburg State University), and went on to work in Residence Life before moving into Education Abroad. Prior to earning her MA in Intercultural Relations from Lesley University, Candace lived and worked abroad with a group of first year students studying abroad in Florence, Italy.
Julie is the primary faculty contact for off-campus programs in Europe, Asia and the Middle East & Northern Africa. She administers the MQP application process as well as incoming and outgoing exchange programs. Julie spent the fall of her junior year abroad in Perugia, Italy and after graduation spent four months volunteering in South East Asia. She has since returned to Vietnam eight times to volunteer at a local orphanage. Julie holds a BA in Psychology from Stonehill College and a MA in Higher Education Administration from Boston College.
