Newhouse Fellow Program

The Newhouse Fellow Program, funded by the Newhouse Foundation, was established to attract minority students to careers in newspaper journalism. The awards include full tuition for a master's program in newspaper journalism at Syracuse University, a monthly stipend, health insurance and other benefits, as well as a one-year full-time paid internship at a Newhouse newspaper. Eligible are seniors who are U.S. citizens and members of an under-represented group: African American, Hispanic/Latino, Native American, or Asian.
