For over 160 years, WPI has shaped the next generation of STEM leaders—and we proudly continue this tradition with our new WPI Innovation Award.
This award offers a $25,000 annual scholarship* to a high school junior who demonstrates outstanding potential in STEM fields.
Successful nominees should:
- Be a current high school junior
- Have an unweighted GPA of 3.8 or higher
- Be enrolled in honors or advanced coursework in STEM disciplines
Additionally, nominees should demonstrate innovation in or out of the classroom by:
- Excelling in STEM subjects
- Applying theory to real-world challenges
- Exhibiting curiosity, collaboration, and leadership
- Participating in STEM extracurricular activities or passion projects
Nominations open on March 1, 2025 and close on May 1, 2025. High school counselors will be notified by email of award winners by DATE.
