Get ready to immerse yourself in a day of sonic exploration this Saturday, April 6th as the Electric Guitar Innovation Lab and Interactive Music Systems Lab hosts the annual FX Hackathon in Alden Hall from 10:00am- 3:00pm. This event offers a unique opportunity for students to collaborate in small teams alongside experienced coaches—including electric harpist Emily Hopkins—to develop innovative audio effect devices. Whether you're a seasoned musician or a tech-savvy enthusiast, this hackathon invites you to unleash your creativity and push the boundaries of sound engineering.

In addition to the hackathon, the event promises a public pedal showcase and a plethora of hands-on audio effects activities.
