Course Site & Video Content Retention Policy
Per the LMS Policies approved by Faculty Governance in 2016 and revised in 2022, Canvas course & Echo360 lecture capture content is retained at WPI for 6 years. Over winter break, ATC will begin to remove content created in 2016 from our servers.
This Fall, the ATC will contact by email any faculty who taught in 2016 and used Canvas or Echo360. We will provide instructions on how to export and save this content to OneDrive or personal storage.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact email@example.com.
New Canvas Self-Service Request Form
We are pleased to announce a new Canvas Request Form! Now you can instantly add users and merge cross-listed course sections in just a few easy clicks. Course Copies and Creating Blank Course sites will remain the same. The form URL will not change.
Bookmark it now if you haven’t yet!
Note: To use the self-service component of the form, you will need to authorize The Hub to access Canvas on your behalf by clicking “Authorize” when prompted. This should only happen the first time you use the form. If you run into any issues, don’t worry-- you will always be able to submit the form “the old-fashioned way.”
If you have any questions or concerns, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
