Joshua Rosenstock is presenting a major new installation as part of the Farm/Art DTour in Sauk County, Wisconsin. Josh was selected as one of 10 artists and creative teams from around the country who will create site-specific installations along the 50-mile DTour route during Fermentation Fest – A Live Culture Convergence this October. Each of these installations is designed to invite attention from passersby as they drive the route, drawing inspiration from the Wisconsin landscape and its rich cultural and ecological history. Josh will be taking over a storefront on Main Street in Reedsburg, WI to present the Fermentophone project - a multi-sensory, multimedia work in which an electronic musical composition is performed by living (and edible) cultures of bacteria and yeast.
