For International Open Access Week 2020 we invited WPI faculty to share their open access practices. We were excited to find Open Access is diverse and thriving at WPI!

At least nine WPI faculty have founded or edited OA journals; many publish in OA journals or publish in hybrid journals where they fund Open Access to their articles. Many faculty share their research through preprint servers like arXiv or bioRxiv; and many others share their research through personal websites, lab websites, or other professional networks.  A few faculty have published open eBooks or open digital videos, or have edited open digital scholarship projects.

Closer to home is WPI’s digital repository, Digital WPI, which includes selected WPI Faculty Research and Scholarship and hosts special collections of research on the Great Problems Seminar program and Project-Based Learning.
