Professor Paffenroth was invited to participate in a small invitational workshop titled "Geometry for Signal Processing and Machine Learning" that wsa held in Estes Park, Colorado (USA).
The U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) organized this workshop with a view toward assessing the suitability of this research area for potential future NSF research initiatives.
A central aim of the workshop structure is to encourage vigorous exchange of ideas among the participants about geometry for signal processing and machine learning.
