Raagini Rameshwar is a PhD student in the Robotics Engineering Department and the Soft Robotics Lab. A main area of her research is focused on new algorithms to enhance teleoperation of robotic arms, particularly in sensing and in haptic feedback. The goal is to create an intuitive and comfortable teleoperation experience for human operators that will be used as a learning by demonstration platform for training robot arms to perform complex manipulation tasks autonomously. She has published and presented results of this research at the Waste Management Symposium and IEEE/RSJ Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS) Conference. Raagini is also a trainee in the FORW-RD (Future of Robots in the Workplace) NRT Program at WPI. She received her BS in Computer Engineering from Olin College in 2017 and an MS degree in Robotics Engineering at WPI in 2020.
