The STEM Education Center at WPI hosted over 120 guests on Saturday, April 6 for STEM Education Showcase '24. A range of educators attended, including PreK-12 educators, representatives from community-based organizations, and WPI Teacher Preparation Program students. The event included a thought-provoking keynote talk on artificial intelligence (AI) by Associate Professor Gillian Smith, six different interactive workshops (including one on AI led by Assistant Professor Yunus Telliel), a meditation session, a RET poster session, a STEM Share-a-thon with a set-up similar to a science fair, and plenty of networking opportunities.

Padlet with slides, handouts, links, and other materials from the event was shared with attendees.

We couldn't have pulled off this major event without partnering with WPI faculty, the Events Office, Facilities, ATC, and Chartwells. Thank you for your support!
