IMGD students, Kedong Ma, Yingying Chen, Shane Stenson, Sean Halloran and Jake Hawes, won the grand prize at the fifth annual Massachusetts Digital Games Institute Game Challenge.

Intern Astronaut is a virtual reality game that takes on-the-job training to new heights. Made for Gear VR, Intern Astronaut is an immersive game that enrolls the player as an intern tasked to fly a spaceship.

Additionally, IMGD students Francesca Carletto-Leon, Robert McKenna, Dillon DeSimone and Sam Wallach won the College & Indie Serious games category with their Major Qualifying Project, Chinmoku. Francesca, Robert and Dillon also received an honorable mention in the College Alpha category for their FPS Puzzle game, Revolver:Rebound. Kelly Zhang and Tom Farro, a Robotics major, won the College Alpha category with their game, Heist Night.
