Facilitated by Reza Ebadi, IA Pedagogy Specialist
Surveys of WPI faculty and students reveal surprising disconnects in how each group views AI in the classroom. Only 11% of faculty are against AI in academic contexts, compared to 30% of students. Students are demanding clearer policies, yet faculty debate whether those policies and syllabus blurbs are even helpful. In this Food for Thought session, students and faculty will come together to share perspectives, surface assumptions, and explore what each group needs from the other. Come ready to listen, question, and rethink what you thought you knew.
