Business Information Visualization & Biometrics Lecture

Business Intelligence & Analytics dashboards, data visualizations, and visual analysis systems are cognitive tools that heavily rely on our understanding of subconscious-level processing, human perception, and cognitive processes overall. These cognitive tools are the focal point of the data visualization subfield called Business Information Visualization (BIV). While the BIV field has seen calls for an increased need to deploy physiological sensing techniques and the use of biometric data, these calls remain an opportunity. Dr. Bačić will present his research as an answer to this opportunity and discuss his past and current research at the intersection of Business Information Visualization and biometrics.

April 19, 11 am to 12pm
