Food for Thought: Alternative Credentials @WPI

There has been a great deal of discussion about alternative or micro credentials and digital badges over the past few years.  What are they and what is WPI doing in this space?   Please join us for a panel discussion about alternative credentials and how WPI is experimenting with these targeted skill based programs in various ways.  The panel will include faculty and staff from Biology/Biotechnology, the Innovation & Entrepreneurship and the Center for Value Creation, the Global School, the STEM Education Center, and Graduate Studies to share their thinking about micro credentials, their experience with and work on the current pilot programs at WPI.

All are welcome to attend, even without advance registration. However, lunch will be ordered only for those who register at least 3 business days in advance. Please bring your own lunch if you did not register by the deadline. To help us manage our food budget and minimize food waste, please do not register for lunch unless you are certain you will attend (barring illness and other unexpected events).

It's understood that some may need to leave early for 1pm commitments.
