The Office of Sustainability will be hosting a panel event as a part of our Sustainable Solutions Collaborative program:
The energy system is experiencing significant transformations and challenges, with a recognition for the need to develop new technologies that can be implemented broadly to achieve a clean energy economy. These technologies require a multifaceted approach with considerations involving energy policies and implementation of new technologies over a range of scales. The transition also requires cooperation amongst municipalities, universities, and energy companies and organizations engaged in the energy industry. This panel discussion provides a forum to discuss the different perspectives on overcoming the current challenges in the Massachusetts area and implementing new technologies to meet the needs for a sustainable energy future.
