Keynote Title: Project-Based Learning in a World of Uncertainty -- Toward a New Learning Paradigm
If the past few years have taught us anything, it is that we should be preparing for the unexpected, uncertainty, and adaptation. To do this, we need to be creating new learning contexts that are both high impact for students and transformational for institutions. Project-based learning serves both of these ends, and in many ways epitomizes this mindset for the future. In this talk, we'll explore how project-based learning might be understood as the "signature pedagogy" of this moment, eliciting the most human of traits at a time when we need them for a sustainable human future.
