Step #1: Apply

Complete your application through the Common Application. Make sure you share who you are and what makes you a fit for WPI, and check over your answers.

We encourage you to review our college application timeline checklist to put your best foot forward!

Step #2: Submit Additional Materials

Submit your additional, required materials in the Common Application or to the mailing address below.

  • School transcript
  • School counselor letter of recommendation
  • Teacher letter of recommendation (math or science teacher preferred)

Step #3: Submit Test Scores (optional)

WPI has a test-optional policy–note on the Common Application if you intend to submit SAT I or ACT test scores. You must register to take the tests prior to the deadline you plan to apply for.  If you are enrolled in high school in the United States, you can self-report your test scores during the application process. If you decide to enroll at WPI, you will submit your official test scores then.

Step #4: Review Application

Once you submit your application, watch your email for a receipt from WPI. Check your status online to confirm you are not missing any information needed to review your application.

Step #5: Special Types of Applicants

Some students need to submit additional information:
