WPI Casual Dress Fridays allows employees to dress comfortably on Fridays during the summer while continuing to uphold good taste and professionalism. Each department supervisor will determine the appropriateness of attire for individuals, as a university-wide policy cannot anticipate every situation.
A few guidelines for WPI Casual Dress Fridays:
No sweatpants
No ripped or torn jeans
No short shorts
No spaghetti-strap tank tops
No halter/tube tops
No pajama bottoms
WPI Casual Dress Friday dress is optional. Anyone who does not participate should wear their normal professional clothing. Also, please remember that supervisors may occasionally adjust the WPI Casual Dress Friday if necessary.
